By the year 2050, sea levels may rise with 26 cm. A fact difficult to fully grasp. As a reminder the limited edition boot comes with a measuring stick on the back. Our most iconic footwear — produced with a smaller footprint. Made of certified natural rubber and recycled materials in both sole and lining. Giving all proceeds to Sea Life Trust’s ’Lower the Rise’ project, to reduce the impact of climate change on the oceans.

The OCEAN-SHELL® is a three layer fabric made from recycled PET-bottles collected from the ocean outside of Taiwan. The jacket is equipped with hydrophilic membrane also made from recycled PET from the ocean. Making the fabric a full circle renewable source adapted to be recycled again. The OCEAN-SHELL® fabric at the moment can be found in jackets like the Arch and Sphere jackets. This is a fabric created to innovate the future so you can count on finding it in Tretorn’s collections in many new creative ways from now on.

2016 - ECO ESSENTIALS

In 2016 we celebrated 125 years in business, this made us rethink about the companies basic philosophy and what kind of products we want to make for the next 125 years. We have a long heritage of CSR and responsible manufacturing and as we face huge climate challenges we decided it was time to take even greater responsibility. To use our planets limited resources in a more innovative way we decided to start the Eco Essentials Initiative.
