Ilse Tretorn x KASSL Ilse is a sleek, high boot that combines sustainability and modern design. Made from FSC-certified natural rubber with a recycled lining and a shaped BLOOM insole for added comfort. The sturdy outsole and reinforced heel and toe make it perfect for both city and nature.

Scandinavian Craftsmanship Meets Innovative Design

Tretorn has long been synonymous with weather protection and durability, and in this collaboration with KASSL Editions, we take our heritage to the next level by blending it with KASSL’s contemporary aesthetics. The boots are designed to easily transition between city and nature, making them as suitable for urban adventures as for excursions in more challenging terrain. With their waterproof construction and high-quality materials, the boots are built to withstand even the most demanding weather conditions in Northern Europe.

The capsule collection includes high boots and ankle boots (with optional gaiters), as well as new models like clogs and loafers, which are completely new for Tretorn. Each model is meticulously crafted from eco-friendly and technical materials, with a particular focus on sustainability and comfort. We use FSC-certified natural rubber, recycled lining, and BLOOM algae-based insoles – a testament to our shared commitment to the environment.

About KASSL Editions

KASSL Editions was founded in Amsterdam in 2018, as an outerwear brand with a genderless, durable and functional ethos and commitment to radical quality. A counterpoint to an era of excess and overproduction, the brand’s manufacturing operation began in Kassel, the central German city best known for its Documenta contemporary art festival, using the same facilities that supply the German national fire brigade with its near-indestructible outerwear. Seasonal collections have since evolved significantly to encompass bags, accessories and selected homeware.
